Eerder schreven we al over de Android Network Awards , een initiatief waarbij de beste Android-applicaties worden vastgesteld. Het idee erachter is dat een grote groep Android-sites alvast een voorselectie maakt, waarna de gebruikers zelf kunnen gaan stemmen. Wereldwijd doen inmiddels al heel wat websites mee.

Een tijdje terug werden we benaderd door androidguys.com om mee te werken aan de ANA : Android Network Awards. Dit prijzenfestival is bedoeld om de beste apps in diverse categorieen te kiezen en daarvoor hebben ze de medewerking gevraagd van veel websites over heel de wereld.

Motorola Cliq Android phone coming to T-Mobile in October?

For Your Consideration – The First Ever ANA Nominees
The Android Network Awards (ANA’s) are just about ready to be turned over to the public for voting. It looks like Monday might be the date we start running the polls on our sites and the main Android Awards page. Before we get to the nominations, I’d like to thank all of the help we’re getting from the various Android-based websites from around the world. We’ve grown to over 60 members in the very short life of the network. With representation from many different countries, I am proud to be working with you all. 7″ Tablet Rumored for China Mobile
A 7″ Android-based tablet with phone functionality is being rumored for China Mobile. It’s being reported that the table will have the proprietary TD-SCDMA for 3G connectivity and run the OPhone OS.
OPhone Emulator Video
Just a little video of OPhone emulator which is based on Android 1.0: You only have to rename your Google Android emulator.cfg file, found in /home/.android, the first tiem this emulator is run and after that its not required and can be renamed back to emulator.cfg so you stil have the Google Andorid emulator functionalties on the other Android SDK you have intalled. The web Widget JIL is implmented as a one AndroidApp Player which means sooner or later apps run out of memory if you have too many JIL web widgets taking up memory through the JIL Web Widget player
