HTC ChaCha gets bumped up to 800MHz for launch
The HTC ChaCha that we saw back in February at MWC 2011 was nothing much to be desired, other than the dedicated facebook integration both hardware and software alike. Considering it only had 600MHz processing power with HTC Sense UI over top, it’ll need as much extra push as it can get. It’s a good thing HTC has decided to bump the processing juice to 800MHz, because once these come out, running Android 2.4 and having facebook running non-stop in the background will no doubt that up.

We’re big fans of Wirefly over here at Android Police, and frankly, we’re always a bit covetous when the online retailer gets their hands on a new piece of kit before everyone else. Ladies and gentlemen, minutes ago HTC announced that they have been listening to us all along and will reverse their stance on locking bootloaders! The statement comes directly from the CEO Peter Chou and reads: There has been overwhelmingly customer feedback that people want access to open bootloaders on HTC phones. I want you to know that we’ve listened. Today, I’m confirming we will no longer be locking the bootloaders on our devices

HTC Flyer Now Available At Best Buy
Back on the 1st we mentioned that HTC’s new Flyer, a 7-inch Sense UI, 1.5 GHz tablet was available for pre-order. Well, as of now you can head on over to Best Buy’s site as the device is now officially available for purchase. This is the WiFi (b/g/n) version running Gingerbread 2.3.
